For Week 13 of the 2016 season, the NFL allowed players to wear cleat designs of their choice, in support of positive messages and foundations. Von's cleats were a hand-painted design in support of Von's Vision, which offers eye services and glasses to under-privileged children in Denver. The design was inspired by an eye chart.
